I have never had so much fun while actually feeling like I was making a difference. The people I met on the trip will be life long friends because we shared this amazing experience together.
Spend six weeks in Madagascar studing animal populations, island hopping to visit some of the world’s most remote communities and teaching English to remote communities.
This program departs 4 times a year in Jan, April , Sept and July and is designed to be a high-intensity alternative to our popular ten-week course. The July departure is a great way to use the time between A-Level exams and results day doing something memorable and meaningful, and also works well as a ready-made backpacking trip at the start of university summer holidays.
Head back to the Madagascar page for detailed information about the places and activities on offer in this program.
Over the last 12 years we've taken thousands of young people overseas to experience the trip of a lifetime.
That success has drawn industry-wide recognition. We're an accredited member of the Year Out Group, an association designed to promote the benefits of well-structured gap year programs, and part of the equivalent organisation in the USA - the American Gap Association.
We're big on safety too; every one of our programs is carefully researched, audited and risk assessed in accordance with the British Industry Standards for organising and managing adventurous activities outside the UK.
